The October incentive project is up! Students in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade classes all earned four "Art Paws" or more during the month of October, and received a special art project as a reward. To recognize Native American Heritage Month, these classes created paintings of a famous Ojibwe tradition: the Dreamcatcher. Students learned about dreamcatchers and created their own painted interpretation of one. These classes used permanent markers, watercolor, and metallic paint to create their dreamcatchers.
