Second Grade will get to take their hot air balloons home this week, just in time to take them for a spin during spring break. Just kidding, please don't attempt to fly these sculptures, they are for decoration only. Be sure to hang them somewhere safe so they can be admired for years to come!
Second Grade has just completed their very first paper mache project. This is their introduction to all of the future sculptures they will be making over the years as they grow up in our Bright art program. From third grade on, they will be designing and building unique sculptures every year, so hopefully they got some good experience. It can be a challenging process to work with the liquid glue and brittle paper.
