We just had a ton of fun with our April incentive project. Students were able to partake in a very unique art process called: Ebru. This is a paper marbling process where water is mixed with a thickener called size, and then paints are spread and marbled on the surface of the water. Once the design is complete, paper coated with alum, a special fixative, is dipped into the water to absorb the design. This is the first time I have tried this messy process indoors, but our Bright stars were able to keep the mess under control! Congratulations 6th & 8th grades!
